Server Rules
Playing on Eternion means agreeing to these. Most of them are the obvious ones. The few that end an account are marked, so there are no surprises.
Enforcement
Punishments scale with severity and history, from a warning through to a permanent ban across both realms. Cheating, real-money trading and payment fraud skip the ladder entirely. Staff decisions are made in good faith, and you can appeal one on Discord.
General Conduct
How to behave around other people.
- Be respectfulWarning or mute
No harassment, hate speech, racism, sexism, or personal attacks toward players or staff. Treat everyone with basic respect.
- No spamWarning or mute
Do not flood chat channels, mail, or whispers with repeated or meaningless messages. This includes excessive caps and trade-channel abuse.
- English in public channelsWarning or mute
Keep World, Trade, and LookingForGroup in English so staff can moderate. Speak any language you like in private, party, and guild chat.
- No real-money tradingPermanent ban
Selling gold, items, accounts, or services for real money outside the official store is forbidden and results in a permanent ban.
Accounts & Security
Your account is yours, and so is everything done on it.

You are responsible for everything done on your account. Account sharing is at your own risk, and we will not restore items lost to shared access.
- No account selling or tradingSuspension or ban
Accounts are non-transferable. Buying or selling accounts is prohibited.
- Protect your loginAdvice
Staff will never ask for your password. Anyone who does is scamming you. Report them immediately.
Exploits & Cheating
The line between clever and bannable.
- No third-party softwarePermanent ban
Bots, hacks, automation, packet editing, or any program that gives an unfair advantage results in a permanent ban.
- Report bugs, do not abuse themSuspension or ban
Found a bug or exploit? Report it on Discord or the forums. Abusing bugs (duplication, unintended teleports, vendor exploits) is bannable and may wipe affected characters.
- No exploiting game mechanicsSuspension or ban
Intentionally crashing the server, lag abuse, or griefing instances and events ruins it for everyone and is punished.
Names & Identity
What you can call yourself.
- Appropriate namesWarning or mute
Character, guild, and pet names must not be offensive, impersonate staff, or contain real-world references such as politicians, brands, or slurs. GMs may force a rename.
- No staff impersonationSuspension or ban
Do not pretend to be staff or claim authority you do not have.
Trading & Economy
Gold, the store, and what we can undo.
- Trades are finalAdvice
Scamming in trades is against the rules, but always double-check the trade window before accepting. We may not be able to reverse a completed trade.
- Store purchases and chargebacksPermanent ban
Store purchases are delivered to your account and characters per the store terms. Chargebacks or payment fraud result in a permanent ban across all realms.
Gameplay & Events
Playing alongside everyone else.
- Follow GM instructions during eventsWarning or mute
GM-run events have their own temporary rules. Follow them. Disrupting an official event may get you removed from it.
- No griefingWarning or mute
Corpse-camping to harass, blocking quest NPCs, or deliberately ruining other people’s gameplay is not allowed where it crosses into harassment.
Reporting someone
Open a GM ticket in game, or post in Discord. Screenshots and the exact character name make it far quicker to act on, so include them where you can.
